Spanning 18 days, beginning the day after Holi, Gangaur is celebrated primarily by women who fast and worship the divine couple, Lord Shiva (Gan) and Goddess Parvati (Gaur). The highlight of the festival in the Pink City is the centuries-old Gangaur Ki Sawari (Procession), a royal spectacle of immense cultural richness that transforms the historic streets into a mesmerizing display of Rajasthani heritage.
