About Kanak Garden, Jaipur
A Royal Valley of Serenity and Splendor
Kanak Garden is a beautiful and serene complex located at the foothills of the Nahargarh Fort along the main Jaipur-Amer road. Often described as a ‘mini Vrindavan’ this picturesque valley was designed in the 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II the founder of Jaipur. The garden complex is a masterpiece of landscape architecture blending Mughal and Rajput styles with its symmetrical arrangement of fountains, marble columns, intricate chhatris and a sacred temple. Positioned in the crucial Ghati (valley) between the hills, it offers a tranquil retreat and a stunning vista of the Jal Mahal and the surrounding Aravalli hills.
