About Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh, Jaipur

A Royal Love Saga in Terraced Gardens

Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh or the Sisodia Queen’s Garden is an exquisite 18th-century terraced garden-palace complex located on the outskirts of Jaipur. Built in 1728 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II as a loving retreat for his second queen Sisodia Rani of the Udaipur Sisodia clan this site is a beautiful architectural symbol of royal romance and devotion. The garden masterfully synthesizes the geometric precision of the Mughal Charbagh (four-part garden) style with the intricate pavilions, murals, and religious motifs characteristic of Rajput architecture. Flanked by the Aravalli hills, it features multi-level lawns, cascading water channels, and pavilions richly decorated with frescoes depicting the divine love story of Radha and Lord Krishna. It serves as a tranquil picturesque escape embodying the grandeur and artistry of the Rajput era.
